Port Credit is a majestic community located in the mid south end of Mississauga. Nestled directly on Lake Ontario and the mouth of the Credit River, Port Credit is the perfect retreat from urban life.
Port Credit has been traced back to as early as the late 1700's. The community grew and flourished around its harbour at the mouth of the Credit River. Port Credit became a fishing port and a trading post. By the late 19th century a railroad track was built within the community which allowed for more growth and prosperity.
Today Port Credit, also known as the 'Village on the Lake', holds true to its community value with a modern flair. The streets are lined with shops, restaurants, and nightlife. Throughout all seasons you can see the residents enjoying the streets of Port Credit.
